Roberta Asmus Goodall, Trumpets 

Roberta joined The Classical Brass in 2008. She has performed as a freelance musician and with many orchestras across Colorado's Front Range. This includes the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra, serving as principal trumpet in the Central City Opera Orchestra, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and more. She has also been a member of the Denver Brass, the Opera Colorado Orchestra and the Arizona Opera Orchestra.

Extensive brass quintet experience includes performing with the Faculty Brass Quintet at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada, and recording and touring with Heavy Metal Brass Quintet in Tucson, AZ of which Roberta was a founding member.

Rick Pelletier, Trumpets

Rick is a founding member of the Classical Brass Quintet.  He is principal trumpet with the Littleton Symphony, a position he has held for over twenty years.  As an active freelance musician he has also performed with concert bands, brass bands, jazz bands and pit orchestras for musicals and musical reviews. Rick has been employed in the high tech industry in Denver for the last 30 years. Performing provides an important link between his professional career and his appreciation for the arts.

 

Sarah Ford, Horn

In September 2016, Sarah Ford joined the Colorado Springs Philharmonic as part of the horn section.  Subsequently, Sarah began teaching horn at CSU-Pueblo, UC-Colorado Springs, and Colorado College. She performs regularly with local groups such as the Boulder Philharmonic, Chamber Orchestra of the Springs. 

Before moving  to Colorado, Sarah earned her Master of Music from the Yale School of Music and her Bachelor of Music degree from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts.  During her summers, Sarah teaches at Colorado Springs’ Summer Brass program and has participated in the National Repertory Orchestra, Crested Butte Music Festival, the Pierre Monteux School, the National Music Festival, the Kennedy Center Summer Music Institute.

Andre Prouty, Trombone

Born and raised in Houston, TX, Andre Prouty holds a Bachelor in Music from The Juilliard School, and a Masters in Music from Northwestern University. As an active freelance musician, Andre regularly performs with many of Colorado’s top classical and jazz ensembles including Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Boulder Philharmonic, Greeley Philharmonic, Metroplitan Jazz Orchestra, Ultraphonic Big Band, and more. 

Andre has also performed alongside internationally renown artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Renee Fleming, Alan Gilbert, and others. Andre is a founding member of ‘The ENQ’ Trombone Quartet - grand prize winners of the 2018 International Trombone Quartet Competition – as well as an alumni of the award winning Northwestern Trombone Choir.

Adam Snider, Tuba

Adam Snider is the Principal Tuba of the Boise Philharmonic and Central City Opera Orchestra. He has previously held principal positions with the Honolulu, Lancaster Festival, and La Crosse Symphony Orchestras. Adam has also performed with the Utah, Alabama, Santa Rosa, and Traverse Symphony Orchestras. 

As an educator, he has served on faculty at Boise State University; University of Nevada, Reno; and University of Hawai`i-Mānoa. he has also given master classes across the U.S. as well as in China, Japan, and Chile. 

Interested in bringing to life the music of our time, Adam has founded and directed new music ensembles at University of Nevada, Reno and Western Michigan University; performed with the Chicago Composers Orchestra; and commissioned works from composers Miguel Chuaqui, Brian Kelly, Rudolf Rojahn, Karen Olson, Lachlan Fife, and Tim Chatwood.
